Welcome!

East Bay Saturday Dialogues are a chance for white-identified people to come together to discuss the fight against racism, and to acknowledge and address the way our white skin privilege affects our experience and our role in that fight.  Please read more about Who We Are and  What We Do and Why An All-white Space is important for this work.  Please contact us if you have any questions!

We meet monthly, on the 3rd Saturday of each month (except for December).

Upcoming dates:

Saturday, January 21, 2012, 1:00-4:00 p.m.

In January, we will host guest facilitator Dr. Kathy Emery, a professor of history at San Francisco State University who was the founder and leader of San Francisco Freedom School for many years. She specializes in the lessons we can learn from the Southern Civil Rights Movement (and the activism taught in the original Mississippi Freedom Schools) as it relates to the human rights struggles and the growing social justice movement today. Her view of what is needed in this critical time is both inspirational and cautioning. In a lively interactive workshop Kathy will address many of our questions and concerns about the rich opportunity we have before us today.
